How Much Does It Cost To Rent a Dumpster in Orlando?

Whenever there’s a project like construction, landscaping, renovation, or cleanup to do, there’s going to be a lot of trash and other debris. All of that has to be safely secured and removed one way or another. Regular trash pickup will not accept most of it because of the size and amount, and trips back and forth to a landfill become tedious and expensive, and that’s if you even have a vehicle that can accommodate the trash.

A convenient, affordable solution to this problem is a residential or business dumpster rental. For any residential or commercial dumpster rental in Orlando, FL, RGH Waste & Disposal has you covered for what you need.

What Are the Sizes and Features of the Dumpsters?

RGH offers rental dumpsters in sizes of 20 cubic yards and 30 cubic yards. Both are about the same length and width – 21’ 11” X 7’ and 22’ X 8’, respectively, but there is a significant height difference. Our 20-yard dumpsters are 3’ 6” in height, and the 30-yard dumpsters are 6’ high.

The extra height of the 30-yard dumpster doesn’t just accommodate higher volumes of trash; it also accommodates items of larger sizes. For example, if you are doing a roofing project, a 20-yard dumpster is probably fine because the shingles are flat and don’t take up much overall space. On the other hand, if you’re doing a home cleanout that includes getting rid of furniture such as tables and couches, you’ll need something taller to fit those items into. They also take up a lot of space, so the extra volume is helpful for other items you’re disposing of.

Projects a 20-yard dumpster is suitable for:

  • Renovations
  • Flooring and roofing projects
  • Landscaping
  • Special events
  • Community and residential cleanups
  • Junk removal
  • Smaller-scale disaster cleanups
  • Business grand openings

Projects a 30-yard dumpster is good for:

  • Building or home construction
  • Renovations involving multiple rooms or a more extensive scale
  • Deck replacements
  • Commercial cleanups
  • Removal of heavy and/or bulky junk
  • Waste removal following special events and natural disasters
  • Business closings

Our dumpsters are roll-off dumpsters that fit most driveways at delivery time. Unlike the type of dumpster typically seen at sites such as restaurants and apartment complexes, our dumpsters have completely open tops that make disposal easy. They’re also sturdy and secure, ensuring that all trash and debris is in one place where it can’t present a risk of injury, pollution, or creating an eyesore.

How Much Does It Cost To Rent a Dumpster?

The primary determinants for the cost of a rental dumpster are size and length of rental. For example, at places that offer 10-yard dumpsters, you can expect to pay around $450-515 for a rental in the Orlando area. At the other end are 40-yard dumpsters, which typically run from $600 to $800.

Since RGH rents 20- and 30-yard dumpsters, it should be helpful to know that the range for the smaller is usually $490-720 and the range for the larger is normally $550-700.

Keep in mind that these are ranges and that other factors can affect prices. Requesting an estimate will get you an exact number.

Other factors that can influence the cost include distance, gas prices, availability, seasonality, type of debris, and depositing prohibited items in the dumpster.
